Keith Richards joins lineup of star-studded Love Rocks NYC! charity concert

The second annual Love Rocks NYC! benefit concert, which takes place this Thursday, March 15, at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, has added a rock ‘n’ roll legend to its already star-packed lineup.

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has joined the bill of the show, will raise money for the God’s Love We Deliver charity.

Previously announced performers include Heart‘s Ann Wilson, Steely Dan‘s Donald Fagen, ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons, ex-Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes, Los Lobos singer David Hidalgo, Valerie Simpson, LaBelle‘s Nona Hendryx, Patty Smyth, Mavis Staples, Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughan, Marc Cohn, Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris, Ziggy Marley and many others.

Whoopi Goldberg will host the event, along with as-yet-unannounced special guests. The show’s house band will include Paul Shaffer and his CBS Orchestra bandmate Will Lee, former Bob Dylan and Levon Helm touring guitarist Larry Campbell and longtime Eric Clapton touring drummer Steve Gadd.

God’s Love We Deliver provides nutritious meals to seriously ill people in the New York City area.
