A funeral home in Detroit received quite a shock when they discovered a woman brought to them was still alive!
The Southfield Fire Department said paramedics responded to a call for an unresponsive female Sunday morning. And after performing CPR for 30 minutes, she was declared dead.
Sources say police allegedly saw the woman move and breath as her body was being loaded for transport to the funeral home. However, the EMT’s dismissed it as reflex from medication they had administered.
But upon her arrival at James H. Cole Home for Funerals, staff found her still very much alive and breathing! The home proceeded to alert the proper authorities.
She was then transported her to the hospital. Her condition as of Monday wasn’t immediately known.
It is unclear what led up to the call for the unresponsive woman.
Authorities are not releasing additional personal information on the woman at this time.
