After Beginning To Reopen Just Last Month, Apple Closes 11 Stores in 4 States As Coronavirus Cases Jump

Due to an increase in Coronavirus in Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina, Apple has decided to close 11 stores in those respective states.

To be more specific, Apple is closing two stores in Florida, another two stores in North Carolina, one store in South Carolina and six stores in Arizona.

In the entire country, Arizona ranks no. 1 in new cases per capita.

On Friday, Apple released a statement saying, “we take this step with an abundance of caution as we closely monitor the situation and we look forward to having our teams and customers back as soon as possible.”

It was just last month that Apple began reopening stores.

The company did say back in May when it began reopening stores that it would re-close stores if necessary depending on how the situation develops.

The Apple Store is one of the most interactive, hands-on stores around, do you feel comfortable with that or do you see yourself buying your Apple products online instead?
