Alaska Airlines Debuts San Francisco Giants-Themed Jet And Lounge At SFO!

The San Francisco Giants are currently flying high as baseball’s best team, so what better way to celebrate them than with their own livery?

On Wednesday, Alaska Airlines debuted its new Giants-themed livery at  San Francisco International Airport.

“Few things are as exciting as seeing this big, colorful giant fly across our beautiful state as we go into our playoff run. My hope is that this aircraft gives Giants fans a way to feel part of the team, every time they travel,” said San Francisco Giants CEO and President Larry Baer.

The airline, which has been a sponsor of the team since 2017, also opened a themed lounge and children’s play area at SFO and donated $100,000 to the Willie Mays Scholarship Fund.

And in an attempt to boost team spirit, Alaska also says any fans wearing any Giants gear will be allowed to board early for flights departing from SFO during the team’s playoff run.
