AMC Theaters Shift Reopening Date To July 30 In Order To Accommodate Summer Release Delays

AMC Theaters has announced that they are changing their reopening date.

Last week, we reported that AMC originally had planned to reopen on July 15, now they’ve pushed it back to July 30.

The new release date is meant to stay in line with the rescheduled releases of upcoming blockbuster movies in August.

Tenet,” the new sci-fi thriller from Christopher Nolan, is slated to open on August 12. “Mulan,” a live-action remake of the animated Disney film, will debut on August 21. Russell Crowe’s thriller “Unhinged” will be the first film to be released on July 31

And yes, they’re still enforcing masks when you enter.

At first, AMC was an option to wear a mask but after a highly-negative outcry, they opted to make it mandatory.

Are you going to be ready to head to the movie theaters when they open?
