Apple is back at it, making all kinds of moves once again.
Yesterday, at the Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, they finally unleashed a flurry of new services including the highly anticipated, streaming service called AppleTV+. The new streaming service is set to pack a big punch with names like Oprah, Steven Spielberg and JJ Abrams all providing exclusive content. Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were also on hand to introduce their new show, “The Morning Show,” which would be exclusive only on AppleTV+. The new version will roll out as a software update in May and as a new app on Macs in the fall.
Aside from AppleTV+, Apple continued to make splash announcements with new features like the Apple Card and the Apple Arcade.
The Apple Arcade will let users have access to over 100 games with an ad-free subscription. You’ll be able to pause the game on one device and start it again on another but it’ll need to be downloaded on both devices. Ugh, more downloads! The service will become available this fall.
Apple Card will be available on all iOS devices in the Wallet app. It has a rewards system that adds 2% of any Apple Pay purchase amount directly back to the Apple wallet as cash. And get this, there’s no plastic required. All I ask is just don’t laugh at my statements, Tim!
