Apple TV Plus Launching Friday

The new Apple TV Plus streaming service finally launches this Friday with a lineup of exclusive TV shows and movies.

The streaming service will cost only $5 a month and offers a seven-day free trial. However, If you buy a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod Touch or Mac you qualify for a free one-year subscription, unfortunately that doesn’t apply if you already own an Apple product.

Here are some of the primary shows that will be featured:

  • The Morning Show, a comedy-drama set in the world of television news starring Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Anniston and Steve Carrell.
  • See, an upcoming horror sequence featuring Aquaman star Jason Momoa.
  • Dickinson, a comedy with Hailee Steinfeld portraying poet Emily Dickinson.
  • Truth Be Told, with Octavia Spencer playing a podcaster attempting to solve a family murder-mystery.

The first three episodes of each show will be made available to watch on November 1, with more episodes to follow.
