First it was Freddie Mercury, then it was Elton John and now possibly the Bee Gee’s!
The story of the Bee Gees could be the next musical biography to hit the big screen.
Graham King produced the Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody and is looking to present the story of the brothers that became international superstars in the 1970’s.
On top of that, King has said he’s reached out to Bradley Cooper to portray Barry Gibb.
Cooper has shown that he’s got the singing chops in A Star is Born, where he perfomed the Oscar-winning song ‘Shallow’ with Lady Gaga.
However, a rep for Cooper has denied the rumor and told The Daily Mail that he is “not in negotiations at the moment.”
The movie will be written by Anthony McCarten, who also wrote Bohemian Rhapsody. It is said that it will covered the brothers’ journey from Australia to reaching fame with Saturday Night Fever.
