A team of almost a dozen thieves raided the Louis Vuitton store in Palo Alto and made off with over $100,000 worth of handbags!
The incident happened at the Stanford Shopping Center, where 11 men and women rushed the designer store, grabbed 36 handbags and ran through the mall with the stolen goods, authorities say.
Witnesses say the thieves left in five vehicles before officers arrived.
The robbery was similar to a May 19th incident in which a group of 10 people stole more than $150,000 worth of handbags from the Neiman Marcus store also at Stanford.
However, investigators don’t believe the two robberies are connected.
