Major changes are coming to Disney’s Epcot theme park with everything from the Epcot logo to new landscapes and attractions being overhauled!
In what’s being called the “biggest transformation of any Disney theme park in history,” the Epcot theme park will be renamed “The Epcot Experience” and feature a 360-degree film presentation that allows park guests to take pictures in a four-dimensional space.
The centerpiece is a 360-degree project that surrounds a multi-dimensional model representing Epcot’s expansion plan. Lighting effects change the look of the model and are accompanied by images touting the anticipated changes. It’s being described as Cinderella Castle projections but on a much smaller scale.
“This experience center will really help our guests visualize that transformation, all while being immersed in the elements that have made Epcot Epcot,” said Melissa Valiquette, vice president for the park.
In the surrounding areas are themed photo opportunities and an array of stylized posters that salute Epcot attractions past, present and future.
