The Eagles and The Doobie Brothers will headline a new concert and vacation experience next year called Cabo en Vivo that will take place of Memorial Day weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The event will run from May 23 to May 25 at the Cabo San Lucas beachfront and will feature The Doobies joined by former singer/keyboardist Michael McDonald performing on the 23rd, and The Eagles playing on the 24th. Attendance will be limited to 5,000 people and includes food and beverages.
Tickets for Cabo en Vivo go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 20, at 10 a.m. PT, while special packages will be available starting one day earlier. In addition, American Express card members will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning this Monday, December 9.
Those attending the event will have the option to arrange accommodations with one of 13 local resorts.
Cabo en Vivo takes place a couple of weeks before The Doobie Brothers launch a 50th anniversary tour that also will feature McDonald joining the group’s current lineup, and about a month after the Eagles wrap up their previously reported U.S. orchestral trek showcasing a full performance of their Hotel California album.
