The final Frampton concert is set for Concord. Peter Frampton is retiring from live concerts with his Farewell Tour which will wrap up in Concord. It will be extra-emotional since this likely will be the end of his days as a performing musician. Frampton made the call due to a rare, degenerative muscular disease, which is not good for a guitarist.
He’s recording lots and lots of music while he still has the ability, 33 tracks since October. He’s also a participant in a new drug trial. The good news about this illness is, as Peter puts it, “It’s not life-threatening. It’s life-changing.”
Frampton expects to be at the top of his game for this tour. Shows kick off in June in Oklahoma, and wrap up October 12th in Concord.
