This week, the San Francisco 49ers have discussed on planning to bypass limited capacity and fully open up Levi’s Stadium to all fans.

Last season, the team did not allow any fans into the stadium and were later forced to move operations to Arizona when Santa Clara County tightened restrictions.

If all goes accordingly, it’ll be the first time fans will be back in at Levi’s since the 2019 NFC Championship game.

The Niners would finally join the other Bay Area teams who have already begun to let fans into stadiums and arenas.

The San Jose Sharks, another Santa Clara County tenant, began letting up to 1,000 fans into SAP Center in late April.

Recently, the Golden State Warriors began hosting a limited number fans at Chase Center while both the A’s and Giants lets fans in at the beginning of the 2021 Major League Baseball season.
