You may see some rain this week, but you won’t be able to ignore the blustery storm coming Friday and Saturday. Sunny again Tuesday.
I know, it all pales in comparison to what the Midwest is experiencing. This picture is of my cousin Patti in Chicago. The National Weather Service’s forecast that day, Wednesday 1/30, was:
Life-Threatening Wind Chills Continue for Wide Swath of the North and Central U.S. CHICAGO: Blustery. Very cold with near record breaking temperatures likely. Highs 12 to 16 below. Wind chills as low as 40 below to 50 below zero. West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Her sister, Maureen says, “Got lots of goodies to eat and . Serious weather. They say frostbite will happen in only 5 minutes of exposed skin!” Yikes!!
I love the Bay Area! –Jona
