It’s been almost four months since a lot of us have been working from home.
But even working from home can become tiresome.
Luckily, Barbados has the solution for you!
The Caribbean island is proposing a year-long travel stamp that would make it possible for you to relocate and work from there.
The Barbados Welcome Stamp, as it would be called, is the country’s attempt to restore tourism since there was a drop-off due to the Coronavirus.
“You don’t need to work in Europe, or the US or Latin America if you can come here and work for a couple of months at a time, go back and come back,” said Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottle said. “But in order for those things to truly resonate, what does it mean? It means that what we offer has to be world-class, and what we continue to offer is world-class.”
Travelers would be immersed in the culture of Barbados for longer than a cruise ship stopover or a one week vacation.
The country will reopen their borders to visitors on July 12.
