Golden State Warriors’ Star Andrew Wiggins Finally Receives COVID Vaccination; Is Now Eligible To Play With Team

He shoots…he scores!

Andrew Wiggins, the Golden State Warriors forward who has been vocal against receiving the COVID vaccination, has finally received the shot.

Head Coach Steve Kerr confirmed the news.

“He just told me today that he was fine with us acknowledging it, and that will be the end of it,” Kerr said yesterday at a press conference.

The former University of Kansas star was one of the few remaining players in the National Basketball Association that had said no to getting the shot. He also sought to receive religious exemption from San Francisco’s vaccination mandate.

Wiggins will be available starting tonight, for the Warriors’ preseason opener in Portland. Their first game in San Francisco will be Wednesday night.
