The same week that Disney World reopened its doors in Florida, an announcement has been made that Hong Kong Disneyland is shutting down.
The move is due to an uptick in Coronavirus cases in the area.
Starting on July 15, the park will temporarily shut down. A reopen date has not yet been determined.
The Hong Kong theme park reopened about a month ago, with new safety measures in place.
Forbes learned that the decision to shut down was likely a government choice, not Disney’s.
