Georgia Engel, who charmed us as the sweet and innocent Georgette on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” died last Friday. She was 70 years old.
Her friend and executor, John Quilty has said that Engel’s cause of death is unknown because she was a Christian Scientist and chose not to see doctors.

She received two Emmy nominations for the character and an additional three nods for a recurring role on “Everybody Loves Raymond.”
