The Poppy Jasper International Film Festival is a longtime, worldwide-acclaimed local South County event. For 2021, you’ll get to enjoy it virtually for two weeks from Wednesday, April 7 through Tuesday, April 20th. Look forward to:

Highlights

  • Wed Apr 7th: one night only, drive-in movie night – perfect for the whole family – featuring the award-winning film “The Biggest Little Farm” at the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports complex.  
  • Sat Apr 10th: China Day including musical performances from internationally recognized Chinese harpist, Jieyin Wu, a traditional Chinese dress fashion show, plus some amazing films. 
  • Sun Apr 11th: Mexico Day features inspiring films and a special award presented to the Mexican-American band, Los Tigres del Norte.
  • Sun Apr 11th: Oscar-nominated actor, Edward James Olmos in celebrating the life and work of the father of Chicano film/theater Luis Valdez, best known for his iconic film, La Bamba!
