Imagine getting on a rollercoaster and NOT screaming.
That’s what theme parks across Japan are considering.
With Japan lifting the state of emergency this week, a group of 30 major theme park operators has introduced a set of guidelines on how to ensure the safety of both guests and staff in the face of Covid-19. And that includes a ban on screaming, shouting and cheering.
The idea behind the proposal is that screaming can produce droplets from people’s mouths that can contribute to germs being spread.
Among those proposing this idea are Tokyo Disneyland, DisneySea and Universal Studios Japan.
If you ask me, this is something that is highly impossible. But hey, to each their own.
