The second snowiest Bay Area day of the 20th Century happened on Feb. 5th, 1976. It was a Thursday, and a lot of school kids either stayed home or were let out early. The snow that fell that morning was enough to get folks tossing snowballs and sliding on makeshift sleds. It wasn’t quite enough to give everyone a proper snowman, like 1962’s snowfall–but it was fun! Share your pictures on our Facebook!
