Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Visitors Auctioning Off Stolen Items

Talk about making a Smugglers Run, huh?

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been open at Disneyland for less than a month and while there are plenty of items to purchase to remember your visit, many patrons are stealing the items and selling them on eBay!

Things like maps, coasters from the Cantina and wait cards for Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run have popped up on the net for auction.

The “pilot assignment” card for the Millenium Falcon ride can be seen on the auctioning site with a price tag of $400. The problem with that is that once the ride is finished, riders are supposed to return those cards to crew members. And get this, a metal spork from Oga’s Cantina is up for $80!

But perhaps the most popular item being resold are the Legacy Lightsabers. Priced between $100 and $200 dollars, these are copies of the weapons used by such characters like Rey and Darth Vader. On eBay, they’re being resold for hundreds of dollars of more.

Try to take it from her, I dare you.

Reports are now saying that Disney has responded by no longer selling certain in the theme park. Outside the Cantina, an employee has been assigned to watch the exits and make sure guests don’t leave with their sporks as well as cocktail glasses.
