Taco Bell Set To Unveil New Vegetarian Menu Tomorrow

Vegetarians rejoice as lots more menu options are coming your way at Taco Bell locations nationwide starting Thursday.

The nationwide vegetarian menu will roll out tomorrow at more than 7,000 locations and comes after its successful test run in Dallas earlier this year. The menu, which the American Vegetarian Association has certified, will include the black bean Crunchwrap Supreme and black bean Quesarito, as well as the classic seven-layer burrito and bean burrito.

What makes the selection distinct is that is completely void of any products from meat alternatives such as products from Impossible Foods or Beyond Meat.

Taco Bell’s chief food innovation officer Liz Matthews gave the brand’s reasoning in a statement saying, “At Taco Bell, we believe that vegetarian food shouldn’t be a compromise; it shouldn’t be limited to one item, and it shouldn’t be just for vegetarians.”

There will be a total of 12 items on the new vegetarian menu.

To spot the items, look for the veg symbol to keep your meal meat-free.
