This Thanksgiving, The Macy’s Parade Is Going Completely Virtual For The First Time Ever!

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will  joining the long line of events that have to be reimagined because of coronavirus.

The department store said the parade will take place over two days and will be recorded.

The staging will cut down on 75 percent of the usual parade participants and those who are still involved will go through social distancing protocols.

High school and college marching bands also won’t take part in the traditional 2.5 mile parade route.

In addition to those changes, the well-known balloon parade will see some changes. Instead of being carried around, they will be rigged on vehicles.
