Universal Studios Orlando Makes Announcement That They Plan To Reopen On June 5

Universal Parks & Resorts announced plans to begin a phased reopening of Universal Orlando Resort beginning June 5th.

The park will open for team members on June 1 to test new sanitation procedures and Universal Studios will then open for some guests, like annual pass holders, on June 3-4, as reported by Theme Park Insider.

All CDC guidelines will be adhered to.

Face coverings. If you don’t have one, are available to purchase at the park.

Temperatures will be taken prior to entry into park. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be denied entry.

Hand sanitizer will have to be used before boarding rides.

Virtual lines will be implemented. Guests can select a time they want to ride to minimize wait time.

In addition, the park will also have staggered seating, staggered parking and cashless payments.

How soon would you visit a theme park after it reopens?
