The re-opening of Disney World saw too many people not wearing face masks in the park.
One of the reasons for that was that people were eating and drinking on the go from attraction to attraction.
So Disney has decided to put a stop to that by implementing a new rule.
The new rule states, “Face coverings are required for all guests (ages 2 and up) and cast members. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.”
Prior to the new rule, the rule’s exception on masks was limited to eating and drinking.
But too many people were exploiting the loophole, eating and walking without a mask on.
Disney’s Florida parks have received some scrutiny for re-opening as Coronavirus cases reached record highs in the state.
