A curfew to curb a concerning increase in Covid-19 cases will affect most of California starting Saturday, November 21st at 10 pm. It’s basically a stay-at-home order between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am–with options.
Does staying at home really mean not leaving? No. The curfew hours won’t apply to going out to get groceries or medical care, walking your dog, or to picking up a meal to go. Whew!
Probably the most significant order that the governor has given could affect your Thanksgiving. It restricts, “All gatherings with members of other households and all activities conducted outside the residence, lodging, or temporary accommodation with members of other households” from 10 pm until 5 am. So everyone who visits ships out by 10.
